Tim Allums received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Oregon, focusing on both jazz and classical styles. After playing Broadway shows for a summer and performing on two cruise ships, he auditioned for and won a spot in the Air Force Academy Band in 1997. Tim has toured all over the country with the band, with highlights including performing for two sitting presidents and a concert in famed Carnegie Hall. He also spent 2 1/2 years touring around Europe as part of the Air Force Band stationed at Ramstein, Germany. Tim is also an active freelance musician, having shared the stage with Arturo Sandoval, Diane Shuur, and Eddie Palmieri. He lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, son, and father-in-law.
